As the daughter of the late Dr. D. James Kennedy, I know that he often received criticism—unjustly—for being “political.” He was not political. He simply knew the Bible takes a stand on certain issues that some have tried to cast as “political.” He also knew that the Bible compels us to be good citizens and to pray for those in authority.
